The 2011 ALA Jewish American and Holocaust Literature Symposium will be held at the BETSY Hotel in South Beach, Florida.  We have a 35-room block booked and overflow across the street, but please make sure to place your reservation at the BETSY by 13 September in order to take advantage of our special conference rate.

    Getting to the BETSY

 

The Jewish American Holocaust Literature Symposium will take place in lovely South Beach, Florida. The symposium will be minutes from the beach, restaurants, culture and arts, shopping, entertainment, and other attractions. In addition, the Jewish Museum of Florida and Holocaust Memorial are only steps away from the BETSY Hotel, the hotel of choice for the Symposium.

 

 

Flying

To get to South Beach, Florida, you will likely fly into the Miami International Airport. For any questions about flights, please call them at (305) 876-7000.

Driving

To get to the Betsy Hotel from the airport, take the FL-112 East to FL-953 North toward La Jeune Road. Take exit 2 toward FL-112 E/I-95/Miami Beach. Merge onto the toll road, FL-112 East, and then continue on the I-195 East. Continue onto W 41st Street/Arthur Godfrey Road and make a right at A1A N S/Indian Creek Drive. Take another right on A1A N S/Collins Avenue.  Make a left at 15th Street, and a first right at Ocean Drive.
